What is GruView for?
GruView is a private review workspace for uploading a project folder and related documents, then leaving feedback at the file level.
It sits between code-only review tools and document-only review tools.
Can I upload documents too?
The current beta supports PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX files. PDF preview is direct, and Office files have beta preview support.
How specific are comments?
Comments are file-based. The product is intentionally focused on feedback for the whole file rather than page-, line-, or cell-level document annotations.
What are the upload limits?
Beta accounts can create up to 3 owned projects.
Each upload can include up to 50MB total, with up to 20MB for each document or binary file.
Who can see a project?
Projects are private by default. Only the owner and invited collaborators can access them, with owner, editor, or viewer permissions.
