Patch 1.12026-03-26

First beta expansion for source and docs review

Document preview, mobile workspace flow, admin metrics, and self-service account deletion are now in place.

Highlights

  • PDF preview is available and DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX now have beta document previews.
  • The mobile workspace now focuses on the center viewer with separate file and comment surfaces.
  • The admin view now shows visits, recent activity, stored bytes, and recent client errors.
  • Account deletion is now self-service, with owned projects removed and external comments anonymized.
  • Preview safeguards were tightened to reduce raw runtime errors in unsupported files.

Details

Patch 1.1 expands GruView from a code-first review tool toward a source + docs review workspace.

Beta limits were tightened for project creation and uploads, and the local codebase now includes the first direct-upload path for future object storage rollout.

Smaller follow-up fixes will use hundredth-style patch numbers such as 1.11 and 1.12.

Initial GruView beta release

Private project upload, file browsing, comments, sharing, and Google sign-in are now live in the beta baseline.

Details

Patch 1.0 is the baseline beta release for the private project review workspace.

The initial goal was to validate the core flow of viewing a project, leaving feedback, and managing collaborator access in one place.
